About the Music Go Round Stores of Columbus
Hello, and thanks for checking us out! First and foremost, let me state that We Are Your Number One Used Gear Resource!
The first Columbus Music Go Round store opened on the West side of Columbus in August of 1996 at 833 Bethel Road. Located just off of route 315 in the Olentangy Plaza, it shares its parking lot with such well known stores as Micro Center, Panera Bread, and Marshalls.
Then in November of 2000, the East store was opened at 4681 Morse Road at Hamilton Road, in the Stoneridge Plaza Shopping Center. Located about 2 miles EAST of route 270, it shares its parking lot with Kroger, Cap City Diner, Cinamark 16 Theaters and has Papa John's Pizza right next door! (Talk about convenient lunches!) You can find us directly across the street from the water towers on Morse Road.
Kevin Johnson opened both of these stores and operates them to this day. He is a graduate of Groveport Madison High School, and then Ohio State University. (that was awhile ago. Let's just say he remembers buying the LP "High Infidelity" by REO Speedwagon when it first came out!) Kevin worked in the Grocery Industry prior following his passion for music into the Music Go Round world. It's funny, but his main instrument is the piano, which Music Go Round doesn't Buy. (He plays Guitar and Trumpet also).
Speaking of what we BUY, let me put it this simply: If it is musical and you can put it in your car and bring it in, we will probably buy it, because, at Music Go Round, We Buy, Sell, and Trade Used and New Musical Instruments and Equipment!
